What joist spans should I use for my dock, deck or walkway when using ThruFlow Premium Decking?

The joist spacing should be 16″ or 24″ on centre for 4’x1′ 4’x2′. 16″ for 4’x4′ applications (18” for 3’x1′ panel, 15″ for 5′x1′ panel), which is the same span generally recommended for wood. Special applications/loading conditions will require engineering analysis and/or reduced spans, please consult and adhere to your local building code.

If using our Aqua-Dek decking panels, joist spacing should be 18″ on centre for 2’x3′ panel applications and 24″ on centre for 2’x4′ panelt.
